Carnon Contracting is a Mining / Civil Engineering, and specialist drilling and Piling company formed in 1988 to market the expertise of the workforce of Cornwall’s last tin mines, South Crofty and Wheal Jane.

Following the closure of South Crofty Mine in 1998 a management buy out of the contracting arm led to the formation of the Wheal Jane Group of Companies including Wheal Jane Enterprises Ltd t/a Carnon Contracting.

Since that time we have diversified into a number of areas related to our original mining background and have developed specialist drilling expertise .
